Article in the Sakal newspaper, which is one of the popular local dailies in Pune regarding compliance with the PoSH Act.

Following is a functional translation of the article for the benefit of those who may not be well- versed with Marathi

The Pune district Women and Child Development Department has appealed to all Government, Semi Government and Private establishments to establish an IC under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prohibition, Prevention and Redressal) Act, 2013. The Department has also declared that a fine of Rs. 50,000/- would be levied on organisations for non-compliance to the law. All organisations with more than 10 employees are required to set up an IC as stipulated in the law and also put up a board announcing the IC in a prominent part of the office space.

A report about the constitution of the IC needs to be submitted by 30th August 2021, to the following authority :-

District Women and Child Development officer, Gulmarg Park Housing Society,
3rd floor, Near Vijay Bakery, Somwar Peth,
Pune – 411011.

This letter was issued by the District Women and Child Development Department Office of Nanded District of Maharashtra about submission of Annual Report in April month every year and other related points.
